Sometimes a wedding takes place that truly reminds us WHY we got into wedding photography & Sarah and Josh’s wedding did exactly that!! They had such a beautiful and fun wedding day!! We have been blessed to know Sarah, Josh and their children for some time and when she called to say there were “finally getting married!!” 🙂 We were so excited for them and to be there to capture all the joy.
The list of details they included to make it extra special goes on and on. Let’s start with the FUN things – can we take moment to simply admire that wrist action on their “flower man”?! Everyone was rolling when he started prancing and tossing the grass seed. What a great way to lighten up the crowd and put a smile on everyones faces.
Sarah and Josh decided to have Josh’s grandfather marry them & I don’t think there was a dry eye in sight. The bond between Josh and his grandfather is so special and he gave the perfect sermon on their wedding day. Grandpa even had a few jokes of his own up his sleeve. He mentioned that Josh and his brother LOVED to sing and perform and handed them each a folder of “music” to entertain the crowd. To their surprise, the folders simply held a paper that said “GOTCHA”!! The entire ceremony from start to finish was heartfelt and warm. It was an honor to be present to experience and capture those memories.
From the family formals, to bridal party portraits, bridal portraits, all through the reception everyone was having a blast and was full of smiles!
One of my favorite things about Sarah and Josh is the way they make each other smile. You can see their eyes light up and their true natural smiles in every portrait.
